- We organised a get-together to celebrate “Christmas” 2017, New Year 2018 and harvest festival called Thai Pongal” on 27/01/2018 at Taylors Hill Youth and Community Centre. Approximately 60 Tamil senior people participated and were served Tamil traditional dinner. The celebration included speeches, dance/singing, music chair, raffle draw and fundraising.
- We organised and held ten monthly meetings during the past one-year time.
- We organised a day tour to Tuki Trout fishing farm/ Mineral springs/Daylesford, Art gallery/ Botanical gardens on 28/04/2018 and 57 people were participated.
- We organised a get-together to celebrate “Tamil New Year 2018 and Deepawali festival on 27/10/2018 at the Burnside Community Centre. Approximately 80 Tamil senior people participated and were served Tamil traditional dinner. The celebration included speech on Deepawali, dance/singing, raffle draw and fundraising. We honoured three seniors at this get-together for their invaluable services and supports given to the community. At this event Lord Mayor Cr, Bob Turner, Melton City Council and his spouse and Mr. Darren Cunningham, Positive Ageing officer Melton city council were participated as a guest.
- We organised a get-together to celebrate “Christmas, New Year 2019 on 15/12/2018 at the Burnside Community Centre. Approximately 40 Tamil senior people participated and were served Tamil traditional dinner. The celebration included speeches, dance/singing, music chair raffle draws and fundraising. At this event a Rev.father participated and delivered a speech on Christmas festival.
- We organised a day tour to Echuca on 09/03/2019. We visited Echuca wineries, Murray river boat journey for approx. 37 members of the Club.
